1. Delete your account from inside SocialRoar
- Sign in at socialroar.co/login.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Click Delete account and confirm.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, workspaces, knowledge-base content, connected social account tokens, and all data we received from connected platforms within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate metrics may be retained for service analytics.
2. Disconnect a single social account
If you only want to delete the data associated with one connected page or account (for example, a Facebook Page or a Google Business Profile location), open Settings → Connected Accounts, find the account in the list, and click Disconnect. We will delete the comments, reviews, replies, and tokens we stored for that account within 30 days.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, or you want us to delete data on your behalf, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Include the email of the account and, if applicable, the names of the social pages you want removed. We will confirm completion within 30 days.
4. Meta (Facebook & Instagram) data deletion callback
As required by Meta Platform Terms, you can also remove SocialRoar and its data via Facebook itself:
- Go to your Facebook account Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Click Apps and Websites.
- Find SocialRoar in the list and click Remove.
Removing the app from Facebook triggers a deletion callback to SocialRoar. We will delete all data we received from Meta for that user within 30 days. If you want a confirmation receipt, email [email protected].
5. Google data deletion
To revoke SocialRoar’s access to your Google Business Profile, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, locate SocialRoar, and click Remove access. We delete data we received from Google APIs within 30 days of revocation.
6. LinkedIn data deletion
To revoke access for LinkedIn, go to LinkedIn → Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services and remove SocialRoar. We delete LinkedIn data within 30 days of revocation.
7. Retention exceptions
We may retain a minimal subset of information after deletion if required by law (for example, billing and tax records) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Such records are stored securely, segregated from active service data, and deleted when the retention obligation expires.
